Maybejar

Terms of Use

Effective 25 October 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Maybejar app and the maybejar.com website (together, “Maybejar”). Maybejar is provided by Fedar Trukhan, IE (“we”, “us”), the seller of the app on the App Store. By creating an account or using Maybejar, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use Maybejar.

1. The service

Maybejar lets you save links, posts, reels, copied messages, text and screenshots, and uses an AI model to sort them into categories, summarize them and pick out details such as places and dates. You can keep a personal jar and create or join shared jars with other people. We may change, add or remove features over time.

2. Your account

You sign in with Apple. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to use online services without parental consent, to use Maybejar. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your device and Apple ID secure. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

3. Maybejar Plus subscriptions

Saving and sorting items in Maybejar requires Maybejar Plus, an auto-renewable subscription, because every item is read by an AI model. Without an active subscription (including a free trial) you can sign in, restore a purchase, and delete your account.

Fair-use limits apply to all accounts, including Plus, to keep the AI processing sustainable. We may change what Plus includes; changes to a paid plan will not reduce what you have already paid for during the current period.

4. Your content

You own what you save to Maybejar (“your content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display your content only as needed to operate and improve Maybejar for you and the people you share jars with. This includes sending it to our service providers, such as our AI model provider, as described in the Privacy Policy. This license ends when you delete your content or your account, except for copies kept for a limited time in backups.

You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to save and share it. Content you save from other services remains subject to the rights of its owners and to those services’ terms. Maybejar is a personal organizer, not a way to republish other people’s work.

Anything you add to a shared jar is visible to the jar’s members, who can also recategorize or delete it. Only invite people you trust.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may remove content or suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or put the service or other users at risk.

6. AI-generated results

Titles, summaries, categories, dates, places and other details are generated automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. Check important information, such as event dates, addresses, prices and opening hours, with the original source before relying on it.

7. Third-party services

Maybejar links to and opens content from other services, such as websites, social networks and map apps. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

8. Our rights

Maybejar, including its software, design and branding, belongs to us and our licensors. Apart from your right to use the app under these Terms, you get no rights in it.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Maybejar at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service; where reasonable we will give notice and a chance to export or keep a copy of your content.

10. Disclaimers

Maybejar is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that content will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything important.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Maybejar. Our total liability for any claim relating to Maybejar is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Maybejar in the 12 months before the claim and US$50.

Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.

12. Apple

If you downloaded Maybejar from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies. These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Maybejar or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to it. If Maybejar fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or by other reasonable means. If you keep using Maybejar after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

14. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a sale or reorganization of the service. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, Apple’s Standard EULA are the entire agreement between you and us about Maybejar.
